I haven't been able to find anything about this bike, but love the detail & 'balance' of this retro enduro BMW. That tank is something else.......... Anyone know of this bike ?
The CB77 (and CL77, CB72) was groundbreaking in it's day for weight, power and reliability. Their true popularity these days lies in the 'that was my first bike' factor, as collectors re-live their younger days (SL70 for me...). There are plenty of vintage racers out there on these little wasps as well ! (see earlier posts on Vicious Cycles)
After years of research & restoration I've finally landed my first Enfield shipment. These bikes are completely restored, new Alloy 500cc heads, 4 or 5 speed gearbox and options galore. Prices are very reasonable (thanks to the strong AUD$), and the website should be up and running next week. Here are a few pics from the first photo shoot:
Please let me know what you think ! Planning a rigid frame model for the next shipment...
An unusual and somewhat overlooked custom base, the Tempter 400 came out during the retro crazy mid naughties. Nowhere near as popular as the Yamaha SR range, It is quite unique and interesting. The drum brakes were perhaps taking retro a bit far, maybe ?
Yokohama Custom regulars MATSUMARU (see links column on right) are a great custom house in Fukuoka-City Japan, and make great hop up parts & stuff. Here's a couple of nice new versions of the custom makers perennial, the Kawa W650.
