An unusual and somewhat overlooked custom base, the Tempter 400 came out during the retro crazy mid naughties. Nowhere near as popular as the Yamaha SR range, It is quite unique and interesting. The drum brakes were perhaps taking retro a bit far, maybe ?
I don't think the Tempter 400 was officially imported into Australia. The Savage 650 was, which has a similar motor, albeit in cruiser format. I don't think they were very popular here.
