MORIWAKI in the shadow of Yoshimura

Moriwaki was behind some great names in racing like Gardiner and Phillis, and still manufacturing & racing today in Moto2 class and others. Always very exotic to my 70's eye.

Little Cafe Racers from 1977 - RG50 & GR50

While we tend to fawn over the jewel like European 50cc bikes, small Japanese models still seem like the junk we left behind in our youth... these 2 models have very distinct 70's cafe styling about them, and are tres cool.

Yamaha XS650 flattracker and bobber on ebay

A couple of very nice Yammy XS650's have been popping up on eBay, and selling quite cheaply for the marvellous amount of work that's gone into them. The crazy SR500 sidecar at the bottom has been going off - 22 bids so far - heres the link if you like a challenge:

All too often businesses forget to give a little back, as they grow from backyard operations into successful enterprises. Not LOWBROW, whose new Alan Stedman designed MOTO MOUSE t-shirt profits are all being put to a reading charity for developing countries. Here's the blurb:

Honda RCB1100 & Replica

More 80's Bol Dor bikes - this time the Honda RCB's - the top two are factory originals, the bottom two are privateer CB1100's from the era. As Iggy Pop would say.... "Raw Power"!!

Personally I think these are cooler than the Dick Mann CB750's from the 70's that are so in fashion right now, but hey, that's just me....Here's also a couple of streetlegal WHITEHOUSE custom CB's from Japan being made along the same lines...super cool.
