Honda CB77 Superhawk

The CB77 (and CL77, CB72) was groundbreaking in it's day for weight, power and reliability. Their true popularity these days lies in the 'that was my first bike' factor, as collectors re-live their younger days (SL70 for me...). There are plenty of vintage racers out there on these little wasps as well ! (see earlier posts on Vicious Cycles)

Smallsun Royal Enfield - Online store coming soon !

After years of research & restoration I've finally landed my first Enfield shipment. These bikes are completely restored, new Alloy 500cc heads, 4 or 5 speed gearbox and options galore. Prices are very reasonable (thanks to the strong AUD$), and the website should be up and running next week. Here are a few pics from the first photo shoot:

Please let me know what you think ! Planning a rigid frame model for the next shipment...

Suzuki Tempter 400 -Modern Drum Brakes anyone ?

An unusual and somewhat overlooked custom base, the Tempter 400 came out during the retro crazy mid naughties. Nowhere near as popular as the Yamaha SR range, It is quite unique and interesting. The drum brakes were perhaps taking retro a bit far, maybe ?

Yokohama Custom regulars MATSUMARU (see links column on right) are a great custom house in Fukuoka-City Japan, and make great hop up parts & stuff. Here's a couple of nice new versions of the custom makers perennial, the Kawa W650.

CB360 - the Post post Classic

love the DEUS knockoff logo...... !
Helloooooo .. ..

The CB360 lived in the shadow of the earlier CB350 giant killer (also isn't eligible for classic/post classic racing) and was only make for a couple of years, but people are realising what a safe (discs) and stylish lightweight alternative it is for the road.

Suzuki TXR 150 - The Malaysian Pocket Rocket

Not a lot 0f info about these little 2-strokes outside Malaysia / Singapore, but they are much loved street racers, not unlike the 250cc 2 strokes we had in Australia before the laws were changed (oh, for an RG250 as a youth) .

Honda SL-100 - Ready for the "Marty Tripes 100"

My first bike was an SL-70, not big on speed, but so much torque I once dragged a 20" Dia. felled tree up a paddock hill (helping mum do a bit of landscaping age 10). Cool. The SL100 was like a superbike to me, until a friends older brother showed up on a shiny new XL125.....
